ePassport Application (New, Replacement, Lost, or Mutilated)
Passport & Citizenship
All applications must be started online through the eCitizen portal and completed in person for biometric capture.
The Consulate of the Republic of Kenya in the Philippines, via the Embassy, coordinates with the Department of Immigration Services in Nairobi to facilitate electronic passport (e-Passport) applications for Kenyan citizens residing in the Philippines.
Requirements:
New Applications
- Original & copy of birth certificate
- Original & copy of national ID (for adults 18+)
- Parents’ ID copies or death certificates (if deceased)
- Printed Form 19
- Two (2) copies of the payment receipt (Government copy and Customer copy)
- Three (3) recent passport-size photos (white background, no glasses, no smiling, ears showing)
- Recommender’s ID copy
- For Minors: Parents' ID copies and a signed parental consent form.
Replacements
- Original & copy of birth certificate
- Original & copy of national ID (for adults 18+)
- Parents’ ID copies or death certificates (if deceased)
- Printed Form 19
- Two (2) copies of the payment receipt (Government copy and Customer copy)
- Three (3) recent passport-size photos (white background, no glasses, no smiling, ears showing)
- Recommender’s ID copy
- Old physical passport plus copies of its last 3 pages
Lost Passports
- Police report and affidavit of loss in the Philippines
- Original & copy of birth certificate
- Original & copy of national ID (for adults 18+)
- Parents’ ID copies or death certificates (if deceased)
- Printed Form 19
- Two (2) copies of the payment receipt (Government copy and Customer copy)
- Three (3) recent passport-size photos (white background, no glasses, no smiling, ears showing)
- Recommender’s ID copy
- An Official Police Abstract
- A Sworn Affidavit (from a Commissioner for Oaths)
- A personal explanation letter
- A copy of the lost passport's bio-data page (if you have it)
Mutilated Passports
- Original & copy of birth certificate
- Original & copy of national ID (for adults 18+)
- Parents’ ID copies or death certificates (if deceased)
- Printed Form 19
- Two (2) copies of the payment receipt (Government copy and Customer copy)
- Three (3) recent passport-size photos (white background, no glasses, no smiling, ears showing)
- Recommender’s ID copy
- Physically damaged passport
- Photocopy of all its remaining pages
- Personal explanation letter detailing the damage.
Application Procedure
Online Registration and Payment
- Log in or create an account on the eCitizen portal (ecitizen.go.ke). Complete the online application form (Form 19) and pay the prescribed passport fees using the integrated secure payment modes.
Print Application Documents
- Upon successful payment, download and print the pre-filled Passport Application Form and two (2) copies of the eCitizen payment invoice.
Schedule a Biometric Appointment
- Book an appointment via the eCitizen booking module to visit the Consular Section. In-person attendance is mandatory for digital photo and biometric capture.
