This is used by Kenyan citizens in the Philippines for local immigration, academic, employment, or marriage needs.
The Consulate issues Letters of No Objection and Consular Waiver Clearances to Kenyan citizens residing in the Philippines who require official certification for local immigration, academic, employment, or marital purposes.

General Requirements

  • Valid Kenyan Passport (Original and one clear photocopy of the bio-data page).
  • Proof of Legal Status in the Philippines (Valid ACR I-Card, visa sticker, or entry stamp).
  • Formal Request Letter addressed to the Embassy stating the explicit purpose of the clearance.
  • Supporting Documentation (e.g., marriage license draft, school admission letter, or HELB clearance form from Kenya).
  • Proof of Payment of the prescribed non-refundable consular fee.

How to Apply

Prepare Your Application Kit

  • Gather your valid Kenyan passport, proof of Philippine residency (ACR I-Card/Visa), and all specific supporting documents relevant to your request.

Draft a Formal Request Letter

  • Write a formal letter addressed to the Head of Consulate detailing exactly why you require the waiver or clearance.

Settle the Consular Fee

  • Pay the designated consular service fee via the authorized bank account or portal. Retain the original payment receipt.

Submit for Processing

  • Submit the complete physical application kit to the Consulate either in person (by appointment) or via an authorized courier service.

Processing Notice: Standard consular clearances and Letters of No Objection take approximately 3 to 5 business days to process from the date of receiving a complete application. Incomplete kits will be returned without processing.
