Application Categories

1. First-Time Registration (Aged 18 and Above)

This category applies to citizens who have never been issued a Kenyan National ID Card.

• Duly Completed Form REG. 136A: Available at the Consular Section.
• Kenyan Birth Certificate: Original and one (1) copy.
• Valid Kenyan Passport: Original and one (1) copy of pages 2, 3, and 45.
• Parental Identification: Copies of both parents' Kenyan National ID Cards or Passports.
• Passport Photographs: Two (2) recent passport-sized photos ($2.5 \times 2$ inches) on a white background.

2. Replacement of Lost, Damaged, or Defaced ID Cards

• Duly Completed Form REG. 136A.
• Police Abstract: An official police report certifying the loss or theft of the ID card (translated into English if issued in a local Philippine dialect).
• Copy of Lost ID: If available, or a copy of your Kenyan Passport.
• Applicable Fee: Paid via the designated payment channel.

Application and Processing Guide

In-Person Enrollment

• Book a consular appointment and attend in person. The consular officer will verify your documentation, capture your physical fingerprints, and complete your registration card.

Diplomatic Transit to Nairobi

• Completed application batches are sealed and dispatched via diplomatic courier to the National Registration Bureau in Nairobi for validation, database screening, and production.

Collection and Verification

• Processing takes approximately two (2) to three (3) months. Once the printed ID card arrives at the mission in Manila, the applicant will be notified to collect it in person or via approved secure courier.

Please Note: Fingerprint capture must be executed directly onto the official NRB sensor cards at the embassy. Third-party fingerprinting or notarized print submissions cannot be accepted.
